i too am surrounded by trees, who feel like friends. i watch them dancing with each other when the breeze begins her serenade to them. i hear them applaud their leaves whenever i step outside, so happy to see me and reminding me i'm perfect too. the stand watch over me and my family, witnessing our cycles as we witness theirs, an exchange, a relationship. sometimes i need their stillness, it stills me inside. they give and i take freely, making their purpose mine...just BE!
